Dr. Shireen Abuhatoum, Ph.D., is the esteemed founder and director of Town Psychological Services. Holding registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, she specializes in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Abuhatoum earned her Ph.D. and M.A. degrees from Concordia University in Montreal, following her Honour’s B.Sc. from the University of Toronto. Her expertise is enriched by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), focusing on the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic.

During this fellowship, she received intensive training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and conducted comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments. Prior to this, Dr. Abuhatoum completed her predoctoral residency at CAMH, gaining extensive experience in the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic and the Mood and Anxiety Ambulatory Service. Her dedication to providing high-quality psychological services is evident in her multifaceted training and experience.
