belligerent , inefficient and incompetent customer service delivery

Reviewing our experience with the Flight Centre Office In Centre Point Hobart we feel compelled to report a less than favourable customer service experience. We had previously in June written and paid for a long haul ticket out of China for our novice traveler niece. Recently in late August we are advised to accept a time delay on the Aus leg of the journey. First we argued that compensation for a 4.5 hour extended delay could include a meal voucher this however was rejected. We then confirmed the acceptance of the changes and the ( office manager) Michele informed us she would presently send the up dated itinerary and E- Ticket reflecting the changes and authenticating the ticket. However, this procedure was not followed and only the itinerary arrived then realizing Michele's error we requested the E- Ticket which under the circumstances should have arrived with an apology. If we had not been observant our innocent ,novice traveler niece would have been severely compromised in the process of boarding
We have booked and been extremely satisfied with the service pre pandemic eg Consultant AAron from the Rosny Office. In the post pandemic epoch we have had this adverse experience which we hope can be identified and reconciled for future Flight Centre customers of which we will not be included
