Irwin’s Study is an unique tuition centre that specialises in General Paper (GP) Tuition. Founded in 2009, Irwin’s Study has taught, inspired & impacted hundreds of students who have walked through our doors. Our teaching philosophy is that “education should not be the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” (W.B. Yeats) We teach not only to help our students improve their academic grades, but also to inspire them in their learning & growth journey with us! Irwin’s Study also believes in serving and giving back to the community. Since 2010, Irwin’s Study has partnered with MENDAKI to offer subsidized ‘A’-Level tuition to students from less privileged socioeconomic backgrounds. From 2014, Irwin’s Study is also involved in Singapore Cancer’s Society’s ‘Help the Youth and Children Programme’. Every year, we are delighted that more than 80% of our students score an ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade for their GCE A-Level GP exam. There is never a dull moment in class as Mr Irwin’s personality and energy keep lessons interesting and engaging for students. GP is transformed from a subject that is sometimes perceived as dull and boring into one that is brimming with life and relevance. Our notes are carefully created to ensure that they are relevant, useful and effective for students to use in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. No lengthy resource packages or tedious readings to plough through!
