Welcome

The Stappeshof is a mixed farm located in a rural corner of Merchtem. On our farm, there are first of all our animals: dairy cattle and broilers. There is also arable farming, we produce the feed for our animals.

For several years now, we have also been opening our farm to visitors as a viewing and care farm. Last year we started our farm shop.

Visit Farm

We try to introduce our visitors to contemporary agriculture through the viewing farm. We focus primarily on children from pre-school and primary education and children from the first stage of secondary education (including BLO and BUSO). But youth movements, day care centers, ... are also very welcome. Visits are always by appointment.
 

Care farm

In 2007 we started as a care farm: six days out of seven we have an 'assistant farmer' who comes to help on his or her level on the farm. They help with the daily tasks in the barn.

Farm shop

Our farm dairy products are for sale in the shop on our farm or at the farmers' markets of Merchtem, Pamel and Teralfene. You can find an overview of the products further on the website. You can also order via Boeren en Buren. We can be found in the neighboring buildings of Opwijk, Londerzeel, Sint-Gillis-Dendermonde and Strombeek.
