PT BCA Finance was founded in 1981 under the name PT Central Sari Metropolitan Leasing Corporation (CSML). At the beginning of its establishment, the Company's shareholders were PT Bank Central Asia and Japan Leasing Corporation. At that time, the Company was still focusing its business on commercial financing, such as financing production machines, heavy equipment and transportation.

Based on the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. 441 / KMK.017 / 1995 dated 14 September 1995 and the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. KEP-034 / KM.5 / 2006 dated February 20, 2006, the Company received a renewal regarding the business license in the financial institution business sector so that the Company can carry out business activities as a financing institution which includes consumer financing, leasing activities, factoring and card business. credit.

Furthermore, in 2001 PT Central Sari Metropolitan Leasing changed its name to PT Central Sari Finance (CSF), followed by a change in share ownership, where PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk (BCA) became the majority shareholder, as well as a change in business focus to motor vehicle financing. especially four or more wheels. Finally, in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia No. C-08091 HT.01.04.TH.2005, as of March 28, 2005 PT Central Sari Finance has changed its name to PT BCA Finance.
