Our helicopters have a weight limit of 500 kgs and can accommodate up to five people (not including the pilot). If the group has 3 or fewer people, then we fly directly from Lukla to Everest Base Camp. However, if the group is more than three people, we'll stop at Pheriche and add another chopper to divide the weight and maintain it to 250 kgs each chopper. An additional cost is incurred for each extra helicopter.

First of all, every participant of the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour gets a window seat to enjoy full views of the snow-capped Himalayan mountains. In the first few minutes of flying, you'll get greeted by Ganesh Himal (7,118 m) and Mt. Gauri Sankar (7,134 m). As you move further from Lukla, mountains like Thamserku (6,608 m), Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Island Peak (6,160 m), Pumori (7,161 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Nuptse (7,861 m), Cho Oyu (8,188 m), Everest (8,849 m), Lobuche (6,119 m), etc begin to uncover themselves.

You can go on a helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp any time of the year if the weather is clear. Every season has its unique charm and offers distinct views. But if we have to choose the best among all, then we'll say spring (March to April) and autumn (October to November) is the best time of the year to go on the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with landing.
